Okay . . . so you're here and maybe still wondering what the heck to do now. No worries! It's simple, DigiFavs is "no fuss no muss" promotion. Promotional service is priced at just $10 per block/year on the grid. Our minimum purchase is 8 blocks per year ($80.00) = to just 22 cents per day. Am I as ethical as I appear to be? Absolutely, see the testimonials . Payment for promotional services through DigiFavs is also completely customizable, do you need a payment plan? Decide what ad size you want and let's talk about a payment plan that fits your needs and you can start with DigiFavs right away and we'll bill you via whatever customized agreement we mutually arrange between us.

So what is expected of you the vendor?

     1) You are required to keep me advised of your new content or sales (this includes applicable URL's as well as images if necessary). Do not advertise vague products or sales, please be concise (i.e. provide a URL where the product is located). Please have a cooperative spirit in this area.   If you don't notify me, it effectively sabotages my ability to do the job you hired me to do. This is not just a hobby for me, my embroidery sites are my job, I take my job seriously and I expect the same of vendors at DigiFavs.

      Ultimately, there's no reason notification can't reach me (barring unforseen technical issues) since I also have DigiFavs Yahoo here as a safeguard, though I prefer e-mail notification. I consider proper notification part of my terms, if you continually ignore contact from me when you clearly have new product, yet are advertising everywhere else (here I am not talking about forgetfulness, which happens to everyone)but rather people, who for whatever reason, can't follow basic guidelines consistently . . . it is THOSE cases I am concerned with and in such cases, you and your site may be subject to removal without a refund, but not before every attempt is made to make contact with you (which will be documented).

     Make every effort to send as much advance notice whenever possible, this is especially important for time-limited or exclusive artwork.   Part of DigiFavs purpose is to have the freshest content available, meaning I need to get your new content up as early as possible (when considering this, please account for different schedules and time zones).

     2) Be reasonably responsible when it comes to your site, group, forum and/or products, dealings (i.e. I do reserve the right to refuse/terminate service at my discretion). Business is business, but we also have to care how we treat one another, while I believe in second chances, I'm also keenly aware that this market is frought with issues including copyright violations, slander, lying to squeeze out one's competition, manipulation, gossip & hearsay. There is NO room for this behaviour at DigiFavs.

     3) If you've made payment arrangements with me, please pay your bill on time, if you don't, I'll regrettably have to remove your listing and stop service until you do . . . I'm a patient woman, but I don't have a lot of money and I depend on the income here to help support my family.

     4)   Please always act ethically ~ Your product must be your own (whether for sale, or if it's a sample/freebie/gift) or you must have the right to sell the product ~ While DigiFavs may not have the means or authority to police the content on any represented vendors site, that doesn't mean we don't care about who or what we're representing.

     5) Note regarding malls or partnered sites: Realistically, I can't represent groups of vendors for the cost of one ad . . . this applies to malls, dealers, partners, etc., I can represent you "as a whole/one site" but I can't represent each vendor you have at your mall/etc. or each product you have for the cost of one ad. So, if at a mall, the vendor must purchase their own ad service and if you have product at two or more sites that you own, unless the additional sites are paid for, you will need to pick which one you want me to advertise for you (note: I do have discounts for multiple site representation). NOTE: Mall minimum purchase is 24 blocks!

    6) Post the DigiFavs logo on your site prominantly and link it back where requested if you're a vendor with your own site (exceptions: vendors who don't have their own embroidery site and whose product is sold only through a mall or similar venue). Please, note this is not something I offer discounts for, etc. since the logo is a passive form of advertising and is not the same thing I am doing for you the vendor, by any means, as it doesn't require maintainance, etc. It is a common practice to show this type of unity and cooperation.

     7) When you become a vendor through DigiFavs, you'll automactically be signed up for the DigiFavs Stitchin' Niche which is the near daily e-newsletter for DigiFavs (the site).   If you have an embroidery related group or forum, it seems logical that you would welcome ads there as well, though I don't require it, nor is reciprocal advertising required between vendors, but if you're open to having the DigiFavs ad posted on your group or forum please let me know.

Note: DigiFavs, nor it's representatives will be drawn into arguments between vendors, sites, lists, forum owners/moderators nor their members. It's our job to promote vendors & their products, but nothing more, we're not here to police the embroidery community.

What you get from me:

    1) One full year of promotion to a targeted audience, including the ever important and growing online embroidery community. I advertise only in relevant areas. At DigiFavs our motto is "quality before quantity" therefore we never spam groups, even where allowed to (motto: "just because one can, doesn't mean one should . . . ").

     2) Active promotion as long as you're running legitimate sales and/or new content (including rotation of sales) each new instance is good for approximately one week (exceptions to this are new items taking the place of previous items). When you don't have something new or on sale, you're in passive mode (though still linked/likely to get visits).

     Please note that DigiFavs does not offer refunds except for emergency situations (please see below) and such situations are decided on a case by case basis. But . . . in any case to guard against fraud: *If* approved, that process takes 60 days minimum to process, this is done to protect us from fraud and those who would otherwise take advantage of us. Instead, in good faith, we offer equal credit towards your future advertising needs (i.e. you pay up front for a year and six months later you become ill and have to close your site temporarily, you'll remain linked at DigiFavs with a notation of temporary closure, when you're ready, the remainder of your term will be immediately reinstated from the date you reopen your cyber-doors, this is done in good faith on our part and you won't find a better deal, you pay for service and DigiFavs delivers).

For your protection and mine, please read the legalese below which also includes our terms and conditions. We all have rights and responsibilities. Beneath that, you'll find a convenient PayPal button w/instructions to mail in your payment via snail mail if necessary. By making a purchase you are agreeing to the terms and conditions as set forth here (don't worry, your first born is not a requirement, LOL).

Terms & Conditions

(the boring, yet VERY necessary stuff you must know ~ though it's easier to understand than you might think =0)

Step 1: Please use our PayPal button below to buy as big a piece of the DigiFavs page as you would like, for $10 US per block (this is equal to one block/square on the grid, you can see the grid to clarify visually here. The minimum purchase is 8 blocks for $80.00 US per year which you may pay in full for the entire year or in specified increments customized in advance.

In exchange for your purchased ad space, you are entitled to have your representative image displayed from the homepage of DigiFavs as long as that image corresponds with the amount paid for or agreed to be paid for (in the case of installment plans) each block on the grid is 10 pixels across by 10 pixels down, you are purchasing multiple blocks, therefore your image should correspond with the amount of blocks you have purchased. If there is anything you don't understand, write me before purchasing at webmaster@digifavs.com for assistance with your purchase.

If you agree to an installment plan and do not pay your installment, your listing will be removed, if you need a few extra days, we can work with you within reason, please contact us if necessary. Repeat offenders (those who do not pay their installments on time on a repeat basis) will be suject to permanent termination.

After your payment, PayPal will send you confirmation of your purchase as well as to us, but . . . for us to serve you adequately, we need you to proceed to Step 2 below . . .

Step 2: Send us an email at webmaster@digifavs.com with the following information:

1. Confirmation that you've paid for your piece of the DigiFavs page.

2. A GIF or JPG image file that you have the right to use that corresponds to the space you purchased (no animations without prior approval!) . If you don't have a logo or image, I can make something simple for you at no extra charge (which can be replaced later if you wish). If you are submitting an already existing logo for resizing, please make sure it is as close as possible to your desired ad size, also please be advised that if we resize for you, clarity may be lost, we will do the best we can for you, but we do not create professional logos, etc.

3. The URL you would like your image to link to beginning with http://

4. The text that you'd like to appear when the mouse hovers over your ad, limited to a maximum of 50 characters. Note: From the homepage of DigiFavs, hover text is meant to briefly describe what you offer, whereas from any Vendors listing, hover text is reserved strictly for introducing new vendors at DigiFavs and new products/sales content from any vendor there.

5. Where would you would like your image placed on the DigiFavs page that is available? Do you want a square ad, or do you want more of a rectangular shape? Perhaps you want to string your ad out with just your name? Note: At no time is any specific position guaranteed, in some cases you may have to accept what is available.

We are aware that some areas are more preferable than others, but we don't intend to capitalize on that . . . it's "first come, first served". Though we will do our best to put you where you want to be.

We will be happy to update your link if necessary should there be minor differences in your link change (free of charge at any time) and we are also happy to change out your representative image as long as the size corresponds with the size space you purchased, but we will not move your ad from spot to spot on a whim. Note: This does not apply to upgrades (i.e. extra blocks purchased at a later time).

Step 6: Please review the below carefully and make sure you are in full agreement and compliance. By purchasing ad space from us, you agree to all terms and conditions by making said purchase.

Installment Plans:
These terms apply to all vendors who utilize the option of an installment plan as well as circumstances regarding company acquisitions, i.e. one company aquires another, and company mergers, i.e two or more companies merge, yet their sites operate separately or as a whole - if they operate separately, they require separate ad placement and promotion (discounts are available for this category of vendors) we have several vendors who fit this description. If you agree to an installment plan and sell or merge your company, it is your responsibility to inform the new owner or partner of your debts with us for them to continue with uninterupted service from DigiFavs, when they purchase your company they purchase your debts and other business responsibilities in this sense, if all else fails it falls to the vendor of origin to make good on their payment plan (vendor of origin is equal to the orignal purchaser).

Installment plans are available on a pre-approved basis, even on a monthly level, there are no service fees or the like involved for processing these extra installments, if you would like to know more please email us at webmaster@digifavs.com . If approved, an installment plan will be set up that is mutually acceptable between us. When determining what size ad space you'd like to purchase, please try to keep your purchase realistic so that you may realize a good return on your investment with us. If you do not produce very often, please purchase the minimum, on the other hand, if your sales support such, you may wish to purchase large space.

Of special note regarding installment plans: Asking for and agreeing to an installment plan is a priviledge extended to those who need it. Please do not enter into an agreement you do not intend to honor ~ When we send you a installment invoice, it is due and payable upon receipt. We take your promise to pay using an installment plan very seriously, if you fail to pay an installment (unless prior arrangements have been made, we do understand after all, that things do happen) all promotion will cease and your listing shall be removed until the installment is paid. . . . repeat offenders will be subject to permanent termination of service. NOTE: If payment is made, promotion will resume for the time remaining to the customer. DigiFavs is very thorough and reliable for little cost by comparison, therefore these guidelines have been put into place to protect DigiFavs from those who do not deal with their business affairs efficiently and/or honorably.

Upgrades:
If you determine at a later date, that you wish to upgrade your ad to a larger size, we welcome all inquiries, please email us at webmaster@digifavs.com before submitting) when you upgrade you only need pay for additional blocks, but be advised that the closer you do this to your join day or annual renewal date the better, because whatever size ad you have on that date is what is due and payable either at one time or in pre-agreed installments. Incentive: If you upgrade within 60 days, your *join* date, as seen on Vendors page, will then be updated to reflect the upgrade date as your *new* join date (which is really in your favor) renewal in that instance, would then be annually from the new join date.

NOTE: While we allow upgrades within the specified parameters, however; downgrades can only be considered on a case by case basis on the annual renewal date, we do no pro-rating at DigiFavs, we don't charge enough to support the added time in labor.

Refunds:
The only way you can receive a cash refund from DigiFavs, is after we have been advised of site closure (which we can & will verify) and then only within a 60 day processing time for verification purposes to insure against fraud ~ we regret having to add this portion, but this has been put in place due to vendors acting irresponsibly in their business practices and professional lives. But with an installment plan there is no need to worry. If you have purchased large ad space and an emergency forces you to shut down for awhile, we do offer a solution, if you find that you need to close your site temporarily, you will receive the balance of months in your current years subscription remaining in the form of reactivation of your advertising service with DigiFavs with full credit towards the balance remaining (please contact us if you are unclear of our meaning here) this offer is good for one year from the date you close your cyber-business doors <-DigiFavs must be kept informed, so we can note and record your closure and reopening in order for this feature to work for you.

Further:
As used below, "we" and "us" means DigiFavs, doing business as DigiFavs.com/.net, and its officers, employees and directors. "You" means anyone who buys a piece of our DigiFavs page. When you buy a piece of the DigiFavs page, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the all Terms & Conditions which are subject to change at it becomes necessary:

1. When you buy a piece of the DigiFavs page (a branch of The Enchanted Cottage) you agree and understand that you are buying only the right to display an image or message and link to a URL on the DigiFavs page. You are not buying any right or interest in or to the DigiFavs website or its owner, The Enchanted Cottage/Charlotte and or Charles Gilmour.

2. We agree to post your image or message and URL link on the DigiFavs page for a minimum of one year from the date you place your ad, or in the case of installments whatever time has been paid for. Should you renew, all terms and conditions shall remain in effect, read them again, there may be changes, we reserve the right to change such terms and conditions at our discretion as governed by local and federal law.

3. You represent and warrant that you have the right and authority to submit the images, messages and URL links that you submit to us, and those on your sites. We shall not be held liable for any transgressions by you or anyone acting on your behalf (this is not limited to people who may hijack your site, or hack into your site, as it is up to each individual to maintain and secure their own websites). You agree not to submit images or messages and URL links that belong to someone else or infringe on someone else's copyrights, intellectual property, trademarks or rights. If you submit an image or message that is discovered to be owned by someone else, as is provable/proven in a court of law, we will remove the image or message, including any applicable URL's as deemed necessary by us, and you will not be given a refund under any circumstances.

4. We will not post on the DigiFavs page, any image, message or URL link that contains inappropriate content, such as promoting drugs, violence, adult/pornography, etc. ~ because we are aware that there are some embroidery designs available for purchase that contain 'humorous adult content', etc . . . we will not be held liable in any way for such, it is the digitizers or retailers responsibility to have such material on their site within a subpage, with a warning that the designs or content therein contain adult content, this is the sole responsibility of the you, the vendor ~ and under no circumstances, will DigiFavs allow sites to be posted (where we have knowledge) of any content that harms other races or religions, should we discover such, any and all refunds will become forfeit in any case, and the advertiser will be removed from all DigiFavs listings. We have the sole and arbitrary right to reject any submission we consider beyond the realm of reason when it comes to content. You agree that anything you submit will be embroidery related in some way (supplies, designs, embroidery software, clip art, etc.) and that if any time, you or anyone representing you intentionally hacks into our systems and changes yours or anyone elses URL with the intent to do harm, you understand that you will not be given a refund and your ad/images, messages or URL link may be removed or may not be posted at all on the DigiFavs page and only you will be held responsible for any resulting damages that may be incurred from such illegal behavior. Please be advised that all images are scanned for hidden/malicious content before being installed onto the DigiFavs website, this is done to protect us and you. DigiFavs will not be responsible for any designs your electronic content you download in relation to it's vendors, it is your responsibility to know and understand what you are downloading or uploading, DigiFavs will not be held responsible for any content you place on your computer through DigiFavs, it's vendors or elsewhere.

5. Once your image or message and URL link are accepted and published on the DigiFavs page, changes will be allowed within reason, such as URL updates, closure of site, etc., but this is the extent of allowed changes without further arrangements, and is based on a per case basis as outlined above. You may request that your image or message and URL link be removed from the DigiFavs page, but you will not be entitled to a cash refund unless your site has closed as specified above, furthermore, all requests must be made no later then 30 days after submission of your ad, all closures will be verified and will take 60 days to process as a condition of the verification process and to eliminate the possibility of fraud. Furthermore, you understand that any copyright infringement that is provable/proven by law causes you to forfeit your ad space without a refund in any instance at all including any advertising space/time credit if any remains on your subcription for service.

6. You agree that the information, image, message or URL link you submit to us is as you wish it to be shown. No refunds will be given for inaccurate/incomplete submissions/images that contain code or other malicious content.

7. We have no obligation to post anything on the DigiFavs page in the space you have paid for until you send us an email containing the information specified in Step 2 above, no matter what the time frame, if you submit payment, be prepared to tell us why.

8. You agree that all images, messages and URL links you submit to us will be in the following format:

a. Images must be in the size you have paid for.

b. Images must NOT be animated unless agreed upon in advance with DigiFavs personnel.

c. Images must be GIF or JPG only.

d. URL links must point to established web pages only; pages "under construction" will not be accepted, in this case, we welcome you to bookmark our page, once your page is complete and functional, please write us to discuss your promotional needs.

9. While we do scan all submitted images for malicious content, you agree to release and hold us harmless from liability for displaying and linking to any images, messages and URL links you submit to us.

10. We will post your image, message or URL link after your funds have cleared, due to holidays, etc., to keep it fair for everyone, your join date will be the date that your image is installed (not the date you paid, this insures you aren't paying for time you aren't actually getting, even if it's just a day or two) and remember, your PayPal account may say "completed", but until the funds are actually allocated to our account (which can take up to 4 business days, sometimes longer) we cannot post your ad, you must give the funds time to be allocated properly and your submission must comply with the Terms and Conditions before your name/ad are posted/represented at/through DigiFavs and throughout your duration of service with/through DigiFavs. As outlined above, your "join" date will be the date from which time your ad is actually added to DigiFavs, this date will become your annual renewal date, if you have arranged an installment plan, your final payment/installment IS NOT your join date. In the case of installments, your first installment will be due immediately.

11. You are prohibited from reselling your ad space, there are no exceptions to this rule.

12. If your webpage becomes unavailable consistently for up to 30 days, we may contact you or your representative (all representatives will be verified within reason to assure against fraudulent activity) in relation to such, if our attempts to contact you go unanswered within a reasonable time frame, we reserve the right to remove your ad in order to make space for other, working ads/websites. However, you, or your representative may contact us at any time in order to apprise us of domain difficulties you may be having, we will do our best to accommodate you, as we understand that such issues occasionally arise ~ but this in no way obligates us to leave your ad on the DigiFavs page in the event of such extended difficulties, nor does it entitle you to a refund in part or in total. This is done to help insure the continued integrity of the DigiFavs page, all links to sites must be working within reason (barring intermittant outtages which do not apply to this guideline).

13. You understand that DigiFavs is NOT a design mall and cannot host your machine embroidery content, other than your submitted image/alt text and URL (although we can effectively refer you to Oregon PatchWorks Design Mall:
opwmall@comcast.net). You understand that you are simply buying advertising space/service at DigiFavs to advertise your image/logo and links to such, and through those, your product, nothing more. DigiFavs does not guarantee your product will sell. Additionally, DigiFavs may, as a courtesy, and always at our discretion, if new product is seen or you have posted a sale, we may list it, but are not obligated to do so at any time, remember: if a vendor hires DigiFavs, it is that vendor's responsibility to notify DigiFavs of the new product or sale in question.

You agree that you understand you are responsibile for notifying DigiFavs if your want your product or sale listed (please send notifications to webmaster@digifavs.com). New content listed as new, must actually be new ~ anything beyond that is a sale, if you want to list a product again, please apply a sale and we will be happy to list such for you (equal to active mode for approximately one week, unless a specific date is offered) though we may choose to adjust this time in the best interest in relation to keeping DigiFavs lucrative (to illustrate, if something has been listed as new or on sale for over a month, it's really not "new" anymore . . . this *dilutes* the site integrity as a whole and hurts all the vendors, please make sure your advised new content is actually new and if necessary, rotate your sales; note: sales that do not change their content, are not considered active, please make the necessary changes to ongoing sales to qualify for active mode.

14. As of October 12th, 2006 any advertiser that owns their own website must link back to DigiFavs, preferably somewhere visually prominent on their site, vendors listed previous to this time frame will not be required to do so until their renewal date, if they choose to renew; exceptions to this policy are those whose product is sold solely through malls and who have placed an individual ad space/service purchase with us, the only other exception is those of sponsors & resource links, who are also not required to post a link back unless they choose to do so.

15. Notice to Mall and Club owners (this does not apply to the individual vendors "in, or who sell through" malls, since they are individuals) due to the special challenges facing promotion for you via various methods, DigiFavs can and will promote you, but we can only promote you in a basic way as long as it doesn't infringe on group or forum guidelines as a whole (i.e. in most cases, none of your individual members will be listed, as they need to purchase their own ad service from DigiFavs). Promotion is a lot of work and we can't logically promote many for the cost of one. We know you will understand that this is the fairest way for all concerned.

Note: By placing an ad with DigiFavs and submitting the necessary content for inclusion on the DigiFavs site, you agree that you have read and understand all of the terms and conditions outlined here.

Blocks on the DigiFavs page (equal to one block/square on the grid) are only $10 US each per year, the minimum purchase is 8 blocks, but how many blocks you purchase is strictly up to you!
